BingX Exchange Supports Layer-2 Networks
It can be hard to find a decent crypto exchange that doesn’t have so many restrictions, yet is still secure to use, and flexible enough to use the cheaper fee Layer-2 networks.
I usually use and refer major exchanges like BinanceUS and Coinbase, and I still do…
However, there are times when you need to be able to make quick transactions and transfers back and forth to your personal wallet, like MetaMask, with the least fees possible.
That means you need to use Layer-2 networks like Polygon (MATIC) and Binance Smart Chain (BSC).
However, Coinbase wallet, the most popular in the US, only supports the Ethereum (ERC20) network, and that costs much more in fees to transfer around to other networks.
The next place would be to buy USDT (Tether), for example, through Binance.US exchange itself to utilize their cheaper Layer-2 Binance Smart Chain, right?
Well, yea, that would work but they will also lock up any deposit for 10 calendar days before you can move it anywhere else. Ouch!
So my quick solution to avoid the time waiting and high gas fees is to use the BingX Exchange.
Here’s how I use it as a bridge to the Layer-2 networks: I purchase USDT on Coinbase, and then immediately transfer assets to the more flexible BingX exchange wallet address, using one of the other cheaper networks, i.e. BSC-20, Polygon, TRC20, etc….
Once it arrives at the BingX USDT wallet selected, I can then move it off to any Layer-2 network it supports, including BSC, Polygon, Tron, in addition to ERC20.
For example, I can then withdraw the funds to my personal MetaMask wallet, using the BSC or Polygon networks from BingX, for minimal fees.
